Computer and Broadband problems - Colwyn Bay
We recieved a call from a customer who was having problems with their internet connection and connectivity within the house. Our On Site engineer arranged an appointment with the customer for the home visit and took some more information from the customer.
When we arrived the customer explained that they had a desktop pc, a laptop pc and an iPad and that they were having trouble connecting to the wireless network with the laptop and the iPad. The PC was wired to the router so the problem was with the wireless. When we checked the router we noticed that the antenna was broken. Unfortunately the antenna on the router was not removeable and so we had to replace the router. We set up a new Netgear router with the customers broadband username and password and connected the pc, laptop and iPad to the network. We were then asked to check wireless coverage at the other end of the house. While we could see the signal, due to the distance and the internal layout the signal strength was rather low. We explained this and the customer decided to have a wireless extender installed which boosted the wireless signal and allowed broadband access in all rooms of the house.

At Computer World we take customer service very seriously and although we were there for a little over an hour we rounded it down to a one hour callout to make sure the customer was happy with not only our service but with our service charges. The Computer, laptop and iPad are now all surfing well. Another happy customer which makes us very happy.
